The coaching aimed to strengthen the capacity of MCC especially in governance, accounting and financial management.

This cooperative raised different issues including:

• Low quantity of milk collected per day, on average of 20 liters  
• Unpaid milk by different buyers
• Disconnection between cooperative and farmers
• Milk collection activity overtaken by transporters, former leaders and employees.

In her remarks, Mrs. MUGWANEZA urged participants to have strong collaboration among leaders and members, explained the new cooperative policy and advised the cooperative on how to overcome the challenges they are going through.

She promised an inspection for assessing these issues and make advocacy for the cooperative.
